For whom & when?
When you have added employees to TimeChimp, you can assign contract types to these employees. A contract type describes how the system handles overtime. Do you have several employees with the same conditions and agreements? Then it can be useful to create a contract type for them. You can do this once and assign it to multiple employees! This way you can be sure that everything is properly arranged.
The step-by-step plan
Click on the cog icon (settings) at the top right > Manage > Contract types
Go to Contract > + New contract type
Give the contract the correct name such as permanent contract
Under the Overtime tab, choose whether or not you want to calculate overtime for employees with this contract type! If you choose 'Calculate according to contract', then enter the desired percentage (how many hours balance you build up per hour of overtime)
Enter the overtime percentage
Create the contract!
You can then assign this contract when editing employees. Read more about this by clicking here.
