With the sandbox environment, you can test all of TimeChimp's features without any impact on your actual data. You work in a copy of your organization, completely separated from your production environment. This is especially useful for trying out features like the customer portal and the API in a safe environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does what I do in the sandbox affect my actual data?
No. The sandbox is completely separate from your production environment. Everything you do there stays in the sandbox. This also applies to API calls and changes in the customer portal.
Can I test the customer portal in the sandbox?
Yes. You can fully set up and test the customer portal in the sandbox environment. This allows you to see how it looks and works before sharing it with your actual customers.
What happens to my sandbox if I cancel my subscription?
The sandbox is linked to your subscription. If your subscription is terminated, the sandbox will also be automatically discontinued.
How do I delete a sandbox?
Currently, this is not possible; however, you can create an unlimited number of new sandboxes.
Tip: Use the sandbox to test the customer portal and API integrations first. This ensures everything works as desired before you activate it in your live environment.
