Table of Contents:

About Cash:

CASH is a Dutch accounting software used for managing the administration and bookkeeping of small businesses. It provides functionalities such as invoicing, bank reconciliation, and VAT reporting. CASH is available as a desktop application and as an online solution.

Activating the Integration:

To establish a connection with Cash, go to Settings (gear icon) in the main menu -> App Center and click on the Cash app. You can activate it for free.

After activation, you will be directed to the settings page. Set your relation number, email address, and password there. Click 'Save', then select the appropriate administration and click 'Save' again.

Items:

You can create items in Cash so that the invoice lines associated with them are automatically assigned to the correct revenue account. In TimeChimp, you can choose a default item on the Cash settings page.

Additionally, you can link an item to an activity or expense category (under Management). When you record hours on this activity and create an invoice, the invoice lines will be automatically linked to the correct item.

Importing Customers:

With the Cash integration, you can import all customers from Cash under Settings -> Import. After importing, you can view them under Relations -> Customers.

The connection is made based on the customer number field in TimeChimp, which must match the customer number in Cash.

The connection is made based on the customer number field in TimeChimp, which must match the customer number in Cash.

There is also an option to set up an automatic nightly import for your customers under Settings -> Cash.

Alternatively, you can choose to create your customers in TimeChimp first. When creating an invoice in Cash, a customer will be automatically created in Cash if it doesn't exist.

Creating an Invoice:

You can easily create an invoice for all hours, expenses, and trips in Cash. Go to Overviews -> Hours, select the hours (or expenses/trips), and choose Actions -> Invoice in Cash.

You can also invoice your customers/projects in Cash from Overviews -> Uninvoiced. This can be useful for projects that have a subscription or fixed price as the billing method.

Creating a Sales Entry:

If you want to use the invoice module of TimeChimp, create your invoice here and, after sending the invoice to the customer, create a sales entry in Cash.

You can do this under 'Invoices' (select the invoices) or from the invoice itself. Then choose Actions -> Create Cash Sales Entry. Note that the invoice must be sent before this button becomes visible.
