The integration with Jira is available in all packages.
To prepare the app in Jira for the future, a major update has been rolled out for the TimeChimp app in Jira. You can still perform all your familiar tasks, but in a completely new look.
About the integration
Jira is a tool for teams to plan projects, manage tasks and track workflow processes. With the integration, your team can easily register the time they spend on a ticket or assignment. In addition, customers and projects are imported so you can link them to your ticket. After registration, the logged hours are imported into TimeChimp under the chosen project.

Task: Choose the specific task you performed.

Click on 'Save entry' to save the registration directly, or click on 'Start timer' to track time live.
Linking time registrations
You can still link your time registrations to a Jira ticket as you are used to, but this process has been greatly improved and simplified.
Linking existing registrations
Old Previously, unlinked registrations had to be linked afterwards via the general dashboard under 'Link time entries'.
New It is now much easier to link existing registrations in TimeChimp directly from a specific Jira ticket.
Within the opened Jira ticket, click on the "Link to this issue" button under the heading 'Link your TimeChimp time entries'.
A pop-up named 'Link Time Entry to issue' opens with a reports of your hours for the current week.
Locate the correct registration and click on the blue "Link time entry" button to link it directly to the opened Jira ticket.
Project mapping
It is possible to connect TimeChimp projects to Jira projects in advance. This way, the correct TimeChimp project is already selected when employees open a ticket, task, or epic connected to a Jira project. Employees then only need to select the correct task and enter the number of hours worked.
Please note: employees still have the option to manually select a different TimeChimp project.
