How to clear your cookies and cache

How to clear cookies and cache in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, iOS, or Android.

Sometimes TimeChimp may not work as expected, and in such cases, our support team may ask you to clear your cookies and/or cache. Here's how you can do it in your chosen browser. Use Ctrl + F / Command + F to find your browser.


  1. Click the Blad Icon (three dots) in the upper-right menu bar.

  2. Select 'More' and than 'Clear browsing data'

  3. Click Clear Browsing Data, choose the desired period or select All cookies, and click Clear Browsing Data.


  1. Click the menu button (three horizontal lines).

  2. Select Options.

  3. Choose Privacy & Security and navigate to the Cookies section.

  4. Click Manage Data, select Remove all shown, and click Save Changes.

Internet Explorer:

  1. Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

  2. Choose Safety.

  3. Select Delete Browsing History.

  4. Check Cookies and Website Data and click Delete.

Microsoft Edge:

  1. Click the three-dot button in the upper-right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Choose Privacy and Security.

  4. Click Choose what to clear, check the data you want to clear, and click Clear.


  1. Click Safari in the menu bar.

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Click Privacy.

  4. Click Remove All Website Data and confirm by clicking Remove Now.

iOS (iPhone/iPad):

  1. Open the Settings app and go to Safari.

  2. Choose Clear History and Website Data and confirm.

Android (Samsung, Huawei, Google Pixel):

  1. Open the Settings app.

  2. Go to Apps.

  3. Choose the app whose cache you want to clear.

  4. Select Storage and click Clear Cache.
