Welcome to TimeChimp! This article provides tips on how you can optimally organize your own TimeChimp environment. In this article we will go through the tabs organization, general, regional, times, holidays, import, export and the API.

In the basis of TimeChimp you have standard access to the following functionalities. Click per functionality to read more about it.

Organization - General - Regional - Times - Import and Export.

Depending on the activated modules, you will see a settings tab for each module. Click on the name of the module to quickly proceed to the correct article.

Important!

Please note that when you adjust settings, always exit by clicking the "Save" button at the bottom right.

  • It is possible to enter the holidays in TimeChimp by default. To do this, go to settings > holidays and retrieve the holidays from the correct country and year.
  • The holidays are not blocked in the register tab. Do you want to block the day for registrations? Then click on the pin next to the holiday and set block to YES.
    Note! Do you work with contracts in TimeChimp and does the employee normally work on, for example, Monday and it is now Easter Monday? In that case, do not turn on the block, so that the employee can write the hours on the 'Holiday' activity and no contract hours are missing. Read more about internal activities here.
